You can find the complete manual at the [[https://amusewiki.org/library/manual][=AMUSE Wiki website=]]. ----- The Southeast Asian Anarchist Library ([[https://sea.theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index][=sea.theanarchistlibrary.org=]]) uses additional metadata unique to it that isn't used on TAL. These are: #lang #language #publication Among these field, only =#lang= is automatically applied and as of January 2021 the =#lang= dropdown menu only supports English and Bahasa Indonesia. Do take due diligence to correct these fields for the SEA Anarchist Library. All these metadata ought be placed at the header of each text. So if you see: #title The Title #LISTtitle Title #author Author #SORTauthors Main Author, Preface author, etc author #date January 2021 #uid Title for translation purposes #SORTtopics topic, topic 2 #lang en #pubdate 2021-01-11T06:15:27 You can =#language= and =#publication= to this header: #title The Title #LISTtitle Title #author Author #SORTauthors Main Author, Preface author, etc author #date January 2021 #uid Title for translation purposes #SORTtopics topic, topic 2 #lang en #pubdate 2021-01-11T06:15:27 #language English #publication A Publication Next we will discuss =#lag=, =#language=, and =#publication=. ---- *** =#lang= =#lang= specifies language and this category governs the language tabs. [[s-a-southeast-asian-anarchist-librarian-special-me-1.png f][The language tabs at work.]] However, support for all languages is still being worked on. So as of January 2021, the only tabs that show up are English and Bahasa Indonesia. In the meantime, you can manually change the language of the text in the edit screen. Normally the language field is =en=: #lang en You can manually change =#lang en= to any of the following language codes: English | en Bahasa Indonesia | id Bahasa Melayu | ms Basa Jawa | jav Basa Sunda | sun Tagalog | tl Cebuano | ceb Ilocano | ilo Thai | th Burmese | my Khmer | km Lao | lo Vietnamese | vi Chinese | zh For example, Tagalog texts are tagged as: #lang tl This will activate a =[tl]= tag beside the text on the index. [[s-a-southeast-asian-anarchist-librarian-special-me-2.png f][The =[tl]= tag indicating this text is in Tagalog.]] ---- *** =#language= The SEA Anarchist Library uses two language fields, =#lang= and =#language=. While =#lang= governs the language tabs, =#language= governs the language categories at [[https://sea.theanarchistlibrary.org/category/language][=sea.theanarchistlibrary.org/category/language=]]. This system is a workaround as the the language tab system itself does not have a method for browsing by language. By creating a new category, =#language= allows readers to browse the SEA library by language just as they would by topic. This unfortunately does mean that we have to specify the language of the text twice in the metadata both in =#lang= and =#language=. What ought we put in =#language=? Write out the full name of the language in the field. Currently existing categories are as follows: Bahasa Indonesia Bahasa Melayu Cebuano English Mandarin Tagalog Thai Tiếng Việt So if your text is in Bahasa Indonesia, affix the following metadata: #lang id #language Bahasa Indonesia [[s-a-southeast-asian-anarchist-librarian-special-me-3.png f][How the language categories looks like.]] [[s-a-southeast-asian-anarchist-librarian-special-me-4.png f][The =Languages= category list can be accessed via the =Archive= dropmenu.]] ---- *** =#publication= Finally, the SEA Anarchist Library has a special metadata field =#publication=. The SEA Anarchist Library is meant to be an archive to mirror the literature of anarchist publications from Southeast Asia. This field allows us to specify where the text came from and allows readers to browse text by publication. This metadata =#publication= governs the publication categories at [[https://sea.theanarchistlibrary.org/category/publication][=sea.theanarchistlibrary.org/category/publication=]]. To activate this metadata field, simply specify the publication in the field like so: #publication CrimethInc. And it will show up where you can browse by publication. [[s-a-southeast-asian-anarchist-librarian-special-me-5.png f][Browsing by publication.]] *** =#uid= =#uid= connects translations to one another. Any text with the same =#uid= will be linked to one another at the bottom of the page. You can use it as such: #uid Any string of words
